Overview
The Economic Development Council of Tallahassee/Leon County, Inc. (EDC) is a public/private partnership between the City of Tallahassee, Leon County and private investors who are committed to establishing a competitive business climate resulting in job creation.
By connecting the private sector, education and local government, the EDC helps join forces to:
- foster entrepreneurialism;
- advance local businesses;
- grow targeted industry sectors; and
- attract innovative companies to our area.
The EDC supports new business development, as well as provides technical assistance and advocacy to regional employers. The EDC also manages a suite of business retention, expansion and attraction resources for company representatives, site location consultants and real estate brokers researching Florida’s capital region as a business location.
