Industry Sector Roundtables
The EDC provides business resources for targeted industry sectors that match the region’s strengths, goals and assets as well as provide for a diversified and sustainable regional economy.
The industries are emphasized because of their opportunity for growth, creation of quality jobs above the average wage, role in regional development and connections to workforce-development resources.
Through Industry Roundtables, leaders in industry, education and government design and implement specific initiatives that promote high-wage job retention and expansion. Each sector collaborates with local and state organizations that provide technical assistance and public advocacy.
Roundtable meetings are held quarterly and are open to the public. EDC partners and targeted industry representatives are encouraged to participate.
